Shoes piled on the floor. Boxes stacked to the ceiling. No way to see what you had. We built the first ShoePerch for ourselves, and friends started asking if they could buy one.

We tried wood, steel, plastic. Bamboo won. It's harder than most hardwoods, grows back in three years, and looks beautiful on any wall. Every peg starts as a solid bamboo blank, turned on a lathe, sanded by hand, and finished with food-safe oil.
