Privacy Policy
Effective October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Young Seera LLC, doing business as ShoePerch ("ShoePerch," "we," "us," or "our"), collects about you, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies when you visit shoeperch.com or any page or app that links to this policy, buy from us, book with us, apply to work with us, or contact us by any means, including web forms, email, phone, text message, chat and social media. ShoePerch is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee and sells modular bamboo shoe display plates online, shipped from Tennessee.
Some parts of this policy describe things we may do only on some of our pages or services, or only in the future. Where we say "if," "when" or "may," the section applies only when that situation actually happens.
This policy also describes the categories of personal information we have collected, used and disclosed over the past 12 months, and whether any of it was sold or shared. We review it at least once a year.
Who we are
ShoePerch is operated by Young Seera LLC, Chattanooga, Tennessee. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us using the details in "Contact us" at the end of this policy.
Information you give us
We collect the information you choose to give us. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and mailing, billing, shipping or service address
- Orders and purchases: the products or services you buy, quantities, prices, and your order history
- Quotes, bookings and requests: the service you need, details about your project or property, dates and times you choose, and notes you give us
- Accounts and client portals: if you have an account or portal access with us, your login details (passwords are stored only in a one-way scrambled form, never readable), your settings, and the files, messages and information you add
- Messages: what you send us by email, web form, text message, chat, phone, voicemail or social media
- Reviews, testimonials, photos and comments you send us or post about us
- Job applications: if you apply to work with us, your résumé, work history, references, availability and anything else you include
- Communication preferences: whether you agreed to receive marketing emails or text messages, and any opt-outs
- Surveys, contests and promotions: your answers and entries, if you take part
- Demographic details you choose to tell us, such as your age range or interests
Please don't send us sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, health information or full payment card numbers, by email, text or chat.
Where our information comes from
We get personal information from these sources:
- You, when you fill in a form, buy, book, call, text, email, chat or message us
- Your browser or device, automatically, when you use our site (see "Information collected automatically")
- Service providers that work for us, such as our payment processor, shipping carrier, call-tracking or booking provider
- Advertising and analytics platforms, which may tell us which ad or campaign led you to us
- Social media platforms, when you interact with our pages
- People who refer you to us or give us your details with your permission, and public sources, such as business listings
Categories of personal information
Here is a summary of the categories of personal information we may collect. For each, it says where it comes from, why we use it, and who receives it.
- Identifiers and contact details (name, email, phone, address, account name, IP address, cookie and advertising IDs). Source: you, your device, our providers. Use: providing what you asked for, communication, security, analytics and advertising. Disclosed to: service providers. May be shared with advertising platforms in hashed or coded form.
- Commercial information (orders, bookings, quotes, purchase history). Source: you and our payment processor. Use: providing and supporting what you bought, records, and measuring advertising. Disclosed to: service providers and, as conversion reports, advertising platforms.
- Payment information (card type and last four digits; full card numbers stay with the processor). Source: our payment processor. Use: payments, refunds, fraud prevention. Disclosed to: the payment processor.
- Internet and device activity (pages viewed, clicks, referring site, campaign tags, ad click IDs, browser and device). Source: your device. Use: analytics, security, measuring and showing advertising. Disclosed to: analytics and advertising providers.
- Approximate location (city, region, postal code, country, derived from your IP address). Source: your device. Use: analytics, fraud and bot filtering, and showing relevant ads. We do not collect precise location (GPS) unless you choose to give it to us, for example a service address.
- Audio and electronic records (call recordings, voicemails, chat and text transcripts), if a call is recorded or you message us. Source: you. Use: answering you, quality and records. Disclosed to: our phone, text and chat providers.
- Professional and employment information, if you apply for a job. Source: you and references you give us. Use: hiring. Disclosed to: those involved in hiring.
- Inferences, such as which products or services you seem interested in, drawn from the activity above. Use: improving the site and showing relevant ads.
- Sensitive information: see "Sensitive information" below.
When you pay us, your payment is handled by a payment processor (such as Stripe, Square or PayPal). Your card or bank details go directly to the processor through its secure form; we never see or store your full card number. The processor tells us the result of the payment and gives us the details we need, such as your name, email, billing or shipping address, and the last four digits and type of your card. The processor's use of your information is described in its own privacy policy. Processors may also use your information to prevent fraud.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, we and our service providers automatically collect some technical information, such as:
- Your IP address and the approximate location derived from it (such as city, region, postal code and country)
- Your browser and device type, operating system, language and screen size
- The pages you view, the links and buttons you click, how long you stay, the site or app that referred you, and the date and time of your visit
- Actions you take on the site, such as starting or submitting a form, choosing a product, adding to a cart, starting checkout, clicking to call or email, or downloading a file
If you arrive from an advertisement, an email or a tagged link, we also record the campaign details carried in the link. These include UTM campaign tags and ad click identifiers (for example Google's gclid, gbraid and wbraid, Microsoft's msclkid, Meta's fbclid, TikTok's ttclid and similar identifiers from other platforms). We use them to understand which advertising and outreach lead to real inquiries, bookings or purchases.
We run our own first-party analytics, which means the visit statistics are stored on our own systems rather than only with an outside analytics company. We use them to count visits, understand how people use the site, connect a visit to an inquiry or order you make, and filter out bots and automated traffic.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include pixels or tags (small pieces of code that report a visit to another company) and local storage (data saved in your browser). We use them for the following purposes.
Essential: keeping the site working and secure. Examples are keeping you signed in, remembering your cart, and remembering an unfinished form.
Our own analytics: first-party cookies that measure how the site is used:
- sp_vid: a random visitor identifier that lets us recognize a returning browser. It lasts up to 400 days and is renewed while you keep visiting.
- sp_sid: a random session identifier that groups the pages you view in one visit. It expires after 30 minutes without activity.
- After a purchase, your browser saves a small note in local storage so the order isn't counted twice if you reload the confirmation page.
Third-party analytics and advertising: tools from other companies, which set their own cookies or identifiers. These may include:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy; Google Analytics opt-out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout)
- The Meta Pixel (Meta runs Facebook and Instagram; Meta's Privacy Policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy)
- Microsoft Advertising (Bing) UET tag
- TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn or X (Twitter) pixels
- Call-tracking scripts that show a tracking phone number
On shoeperch.com we currently use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. We report purchases and some earlier checkout steps to Google Ads from our own servers, and purchases to Meta through its Conversions API.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but some features (like a saved cart or sign-in) may not, and our statistics will be less accurate.
Embedded content. Some pages may include content from other sites, such as videos, maps, social media posts or review widgets. That content behaves as if you had visited the other site, and the other site may collect information about you and set its own cookies.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so our site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. See "Your privacy rights" for the Global Privacy Control signal and other ways to opt out.
Advertising, measurement and retargeting
We may advertise on search engines, social media and other websites, for example Google, Microsoft (Bing), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn, X or Nextdoor. To learn which ads lead to real results, and so those platforms can show our ads to people likely to be interested, we may share limited information with them:
- Conversion reporting: when you buy, book, submit a form or call us, we may tell the ad platform that this happened. We send the value, if any, and the ad click identifier from your visit. We may do this from your browser (through a pixel) or from our own servers (through tools such as Meta's Conversions API, or offline conversion uploads to Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising).
- Matching: we may send your email address or phone number in hashed form (scrambled with one-way encoding so it can't be read), along with your IP address and browser type, so the platform can match the action to an ad you saw.
- Earlier steps: we may report earlier steps in your visit, such as viewing a product, adding to a cart or starting a form.
- Retargeting and audiences: ad platforms may use your visits to our site, or your interactions with our social media pages, to show you our ads later. This is often called "retargeting" or "remarketing". We may also upload hashed customer lists to build audiences of existing customers, or of people similar to them, or to leave existing customers out of an ad.
You can control the ads you see in your Meta ad preferences (facebook.com/adpreferences), your Google ad settings (adssettings.google.com), and similar settings on other platforms. Industry opt-out tools are also available at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. These opt-outs are usually stored in a cookie, so they apply only to the browser and device you use, and you may need to repeat them if you clear your cookies or switch devices. See "Your privacy rights" below to opt out of targeted advertising with us.
We send emails you need about your order, booking, account or request, such as confirmations, receipts, updates, reminders and replies to your messages. These are not marketing, and you will get them even if you opt out of marketing.
We send marketing emails, such as news, offers and product updates, only to people who signed up or agreed to receive them. Every marketing email identifies itself as coming from us, includes our postal address and an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly (within 10 business days at most). Our email provider may tell us whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked, so we can improve our emails and stop emailing people who don't want them.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your order, booking, appointment, account or request. We may also send reminders, alerts, confirmation codes and replies to your messages. If you separately agree to marketing texts, we may also send offers and updates.
- Consent. We text you only after you agree to receive our texts. Agreeing to marketing texts is never a condition of any purchase. We never text numbers from purchased or shared lists.
- Message frequency varies, depending on your orders, bookings, requests and the alerts you set up.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
- How you opt in. You may agree by checking a box or entering your number on a form on our site, by texting a keyword to our number, by signing a paper or digital form, or by telling us during a call. We keep a record of when and how you agreed.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number. Words like STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT all work. You will get one message confirming you have opted out, and no further texts after that. Reply START to opt back in. You can also opt out in any other reasonable way, for example by email or by telling us on a call. We will honor it as quickly as we can, and within 10 business days at most.
- Your number. By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber or regular user of that mobile number. Tell us if you change or give up the number.
- Help. Reply HELP to any message, or contact us at support@shoeperch.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Fake texts. We will never ask for your password or full payment card number by text. If you get a suspicious text that claims to be from us, don't reply; contact us at support@shoeperch.com.
- Your mobile information. Mobile phone numbers and text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our text-message provider processes your number and messages only to deliver them. The categories of service providers in "How we share your information" do not include sharing mobile opt-in data for anyone's marketing.
Phone calls
If you call us, we receive your phone number, the time and length of the call, and whatever you tell us during the call.
- Call tracking. Some phone numbers shown on our site or in our ads may be tracking numbers. They forward to us and let us see which page, ad or search led to a call. For these calls we record the time, length, caller number and approximate location, and the ad or page that led to the call. We may report the call to the ad platform as a conversion.
- Call recording. Calls to some of our numbers may be recorded for quality, training and record-keeping. When a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start. If you don't want to be recorded, tell us or email us instead.
- Voicemail and transcription. Voicemails, and recorded calls, may be transcribed to text automatically so we can respond faster.
Chat and AI assistants
If our site or services offer chat, messages you send are stored so we can answer you and follow up. Some replies may be written by an automated assistant powered by an AI service provider. When they are, we will say so, and you can ask to reach a person. The AI provider processes your messages only to produce replies for us, and does not use them to train its models for anyone else, where the provider's terms allow us to choose this.
We may also use AI tools behind the scenes, for example to help draft replies to your emails, summarize calls, sort requests, or prepare quotes. When we do, the provider processes the content only to perform that service for us, and a person at ShoePerch is responsible for what we send you. We do not use AI to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you without a person involved. We do not sell your personal information to anyone to train AI models, and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models.
Customer records (CRM)
We keep the information about our customers and inquiries together in our own records and in customer-management software, for example a CRM, a job-management system, a booking calendar, or our support inbox. This lets us see your history with us, so we don't ask you the same questions twice and can follow up properly. If you first visited our site anonymously and later contact us or buy from us, we may link your earlier visits to your customer record.
Bookings and appointments
If you book an appointment, consultation or service with us, we collect the details needed to schedule and perform it, such as the date, time, location and service. We may also keep notes from the visit. We may send confirmations and reminders by email or text, as described above. If a booking tool is run by another company, it handles your information as our service provider.
Reviews and testimonials
If you send us a review or testimonial, we may publish it on our site or in our marketing, with your first name or initials and, if you give it, your city. We will not publish your full name, photo, email or other contact details without asking. You can ask us to remove a review you sent us at any time. We may ask you for a review after a purchase or service.
Reviews you post on other sites, such as Google, Facebook, Yelp or Instagram, are public and governed by those sites' own policies.
Social media
We may have pages on social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest or Nextdoor. When you follow, message, comment on or interact with our pages, we receive the information the platform makes available to us, such as your public profile name, profile picture and message. Platforms may also give us summary statistics about people who interact with our pages. We may use your interactions with our pages to show our ads to people who engaged with us, as described above. Each platform's own privacy policy governs how it handles your information.
If you sign in or contact us through a social media account, we receive the information you allow that platform to share with us.
Job applications
If you apply to work with us, we use your application to evaluate you for the role and to contact you about it. Depending on the role, and only with your permission where the law requires it, this may include education history, licenses or certifications, and the results of a background check, driving-record check or reference check. We share it only with the people involved in hiring and with service providers that help us hire (such as a job board or applicant-tracking tool), and as the law requires. If we don't hire you, we may keep your application for a reasonable time in case another role fits, unless you ask us to delete it.

Aggregated or de-identified information, such as total visits or sales by region, which can't reasonably be used to identify you. We may share this freely, and we won't try to re-identify it.
Others, when:
- the law requires it, or to respond to valid legal process
- it's needed to protect our rights, our customers, or the safety of others
- it's part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, in which case the new owner would be bound by this policy
- you ask us to, or agree to it
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy:
- Order, customer, booking and payment records: as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (often several years)
- Messages, emails, texts, call records and recordings: as long as needed to follow up on your request and keep a record of our conversations

- Job applications: as long as needed for hiring, and a reasonable time after
- Marketing preferences, including opt-outs: as long as needed to honor them
When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, strong authentication for staff accounts, and limiting access to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires. If you have an account with us, keep your password private and tell us if you think it has been compromised.
Sensitive information
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information except where needed to provide what you asked for. Examples are payment details handled by our processor, or job-applicant details you choose to give us. If we ever need to collect sensitive information for another purpose, we will ask for your consent first. You can withdraw that consent as easily as you gave it.
- Biometric information. We do not collect biometric identifiers, such as fingerprints, face scans or voiceprints. If we ever do, we will first tell you in writing what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. We will also get your written consent, never sell it, and destroy it on a published schedule.
- Consumer health information. We do not collect consumer health data, as defined by laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's health-data law. If we ever do, we will first get your consent and give you the notice those laws require.
- Precise location. We do not collect your precise location from your device.
Your privacy rights
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:
- Know and access: tell you what personal information we have about you, where it came from, why we use it and who we share it with, and give you a copy in a portable format
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete your personal information (see "How to delete your data")
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Opt out of targeted advertising, meaning ads based on your activity across other businesses' sites and apps
- Opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not do this kind of profiling.
- Question an automated decision that affects you, and have a person review it. We do not make such decisions automatically.
- Get a list of the specific third parties we have disclosed your personal information to.
- Limit the use of sensitive information. We do not knowingly collect sensitive information, such as precise geolocation, health information, financial account numbers or government ID numbers, except as needed to process payments or as you choose to give us. We use it only to provide what you asked for.
Some of these rights come from the privacy laws of particular states, and how they apply can depend on where you live. We honor these requests from any US resident.
Sale and sharing. We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state laws treat sharing information with advertising partners, for example through pixels or conversion reporting used for targeted advertising, as a "sale" or "sharing". You can opt out of this by contacting us. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, you can also contact us and we will apply your opt-out to the information we hold about you.
How to make a request. Email support@shoeperch.com, or use the form at shoeperch.com/support, and say what you are asking for. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, usually by matching the email address or phone number you used with us. We use the information you give for verification only for that purpose. We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this once by the same period and will tell you why. Requests are free, up to twice in any 12 months, unless they are clearly unfounded or excessive.
Authorized agents. You can have someone act for you. We may ask for proof that you gave them permission, and may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or emailing support@shoeperch.com with the subject "Privacy appeal". We will respond to your appeal in writing within 60 days and explain our decision. If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
No discrimination. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you used your privacy rights.
Shine the Light. You can also ask us once a year whether we shared your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not do this.
How to delete your data
To ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you:
- Email support@shoeperch.com with the subject "Delete my data", or use the form at shoeperch.com/support.
- Include the email address or phone number you used with us, so we can find your records.
- We will confirm your request and delete your information within 30 days. We will reply to let you know when it is done.
We will delete your customer record, messages, and the site statistics linked to you, and remove you from any email or text lists. We will also tell our service providers to delete it where they hold it for us. We may keep information that we need to:
- complete a transaction you asked for, or honor a warranty or return
- keep our systems secure and to detect and prevent fraud
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
- resolve disputes or establish or defend legal claims
We keep that information only as long as required, and use it only for those reasons. We keep a record of your opt-outs so we can continue to honor them.
If you connected with us through Facebook, Instagram or another platform's login, the same email or form works to delete any information we received from that platform.
Visitors from outside the United States
ShoePerch is based in the United States, and our services are intended for customers in the United States. If you use our site from another country, your information will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on safeguards that the law recognizes, such as standard contractual clauses in our providers' terms.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we will honor the rights that local law gives you over your personal information. These rights include access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to processing, including for direct marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time. We process your information:
- to perform a contract with you (such as an order or booking)
- to meet legal obligations
- for our legitimate interests in running, securing, improving and advertising our business
- where required, with your consent
To use these rights, contact us as described below. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children's privacy
Our site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets a higher age. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site may link to other websites and services, such as social media, maps, review sites, booking tools, and payment and shipping providers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We review this Privacy Policy at least once a year and may update it from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already have, we will tell you before it takes effect, where the law requires.
